GPFS News Upcoming GPFS Events

Attention middle and high school flutists!
You're invited to compete in the Greater Portland Flute Society's first Young Artist Competition, to be held at Flute Fair! Applying to perform is a 3-step process:

  1. If you are not currently a GPFS member, follow the link above to the Membership page to join.
  2. For more information and the registration form, click here.
  3. In addition, to pay the application fee click this button:

The Junior Division 1st place winner will receive a $100 gift certificate to Carolyn Nussbaum Music Co.
The Senior Division 1st place winner will receive a $200 scholarship.

Volunteers needed! Looking for the opportunity to do a good deed? Pay it forward? Give back to the community? You can do all that and have a good time by volunteering to help with Flute Fair on April 11. Volunteers, by giving two hours of their time, make Flute Fair hum. And they get free admission to the event! Volunteers are needed to help with concessions, the raffle table, admission and information, and in the vendor area. Volunteers are needed throughout the day and can enjoy all Flute Fair has to offer before and after their shift. Email Jennifer Diaz for more information about helping out this year.
